With the perfectly coordinated combination of plastic waterproofing membranes, you can keep your roof surfaces crack-free, watertight and functional in the long term. Storage pondsSecurely sealed – even on the mountain
IAT GmbH's Carinthia branch has been an integral part of the mountain railway industry for more than 22 years. We have now laid more than four million square metres of plastic sealing membranes for storage ponds and Landfills. One of our largest projects to date is the St. Moritz natural storage lake with a volume of 400,000 m³ at an altitude of 2,525 m near the existing natural lake Lej Alv. The huge reservoir was completed in 2015. For this project, we installed 60,000 m² of plastic sealing membranes at a rate of up to 1,000 m² per day.
Orders for storage ponds are always processed in a compressed timeframe between the beginning of July and the end of October. This tight timeframe for construction places the highest demands on quality and flexibility and requires strict adherence to deadlines by our storage pond team, consisting of around 20 certified welders.
