Hydroseeding & landscaping

Fast, efficient and environmentally friendly: sustainable greening with hydroseeding
With the best equipment in Austria and the expertise of our specialists, we are one of the leading providers in the field of hydroseeding technology. Our area of operation ranges from flatlands to high alpine terrain. Using modern specialised trucks, we use the hydroseeding wet spraying method to green road embankments, verges, Landfills, dams, forest and agricultural roads. In extreme locations and rough terrain, the helicopter seeding method has proven itself.
The IAT Greenline team has many years of practical experience and expertise in the field of hydroseeding and is also happy to consult you. As a long-standing partner to agricultural businesses, authorities and companies, customer concerns are our top priority. Therefore, we also offer direct billing with funding agencies on request.
Why hydroseeding?
Hydroseeding, also known as wet seeding or spray seeding, is an efficient and sustainable, bioengineering solution for greening problem areas. The process is particularly suitable for steep, difficult-to-access terrain and impassable areas – anywhere where mechanical seeding is not possible.
Hydrosaat thus offers a cost-effective alternative where other greening techniques reach their limits or become uneconomical. Frequent areas of application also include the greening of steep road embankments, motorways, railway tracks or the recultivation of slopes at risk of erosion, such as ski slopes.

How do wet injection processes work?
The mixtures can be individually adapted to the location and customer requirements. In a special mixing tank, a mixture of seeds, fertilisers, organic adhesive as well as soil additives is applied directly to the area to be greened in a single operation using a spray lance. The result is an immediately protected and fixed seedbed. The added components minimise the risk of drying out or leaching. The germination rate is therefore significantly higher than with other sowing methods. This also provides immediate erosion protection.
The basis for successful wet seeding is a careful analysis of the terrain, precise planning and professional execution. Then all types of grass, woody plants and herbs can be sown – only the seed size can limit their use. Existing lawns can also be transformed into flowering meadows in this way, contributing to biodiversity.

- Protection against soil drying out due to sun and wind
- Ideal for greening steep slopes
- Also suitable for humus-poor soils
- Seed mixtures individually adapted to the location
- Promotion of biodiversity
